Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician born in Mexico was born to the music-loving parents of her family. She spent the majority of her youth listening to classic music and boleros of the past, ranchero traditional or romantic music, as well old classical pieces. Ana loves Tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas and any form drama. Ana began learning to play the piano and sing in the early years alongside her mother. The formal training in singing at the age of 16 old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Her musical education continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. When she was a student, and a young professional, she was a part of various chamber groups as well as opera choruses throughout Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. After moving into the United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002, she made her way to southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist with classical Latin American music at private performances. As a musician and teacher she has volunteered for numerous community projects because of her passion and enthusiasm for music. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for the opportunity to share her passion and passion of old-fashioned Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to instill a sense of to, particularly in the younger age group in order to keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
